Last update: November 7, 2009 - 3:29 PM

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - North Carolina starting tailback Shaun Draughn hurt his left shoulder on his first carry against Duke and is out of the game.

The junior broke through the defense for a 9-yard gain on the game's first offensive play for the Tar Heels, but immediately went to the sideline and was replaced by Ryan Houston. After being examined by the team medical staff, Draughn walked to the locker room and he was doubtful to return.

Draughn was the Tar Heels' leading rusher with 558 yards coming into Saturday's game.
