• MINNESOTA DULUTH 4, COLORADO COLLEGE 3: Kyle Schmidt broke a tie with 4 minutes, 52 seconds in regulation after Travis Oleksuk tied the score earlier in the third period, sending the Bulldogs past the host Tigers in WCHA play Friday night in Colorado Springs.
Oleksuk's first goal of the season tied the score 3-3 at 10:09 of the third period, before Schmidt broke that tie at 15:08.
Brady Lamb and Mike Seidel sscored first-period goals for UMD.
• NORTH DAKOTA 4, MICHIGAN TECH 2: Jason Gregoire, Chris VandeVelde and Danny Kristo scored power-play goals as the Sioux defeated the Huskies in Houghton, Mich. UND was 3-for-6 on the power play, giving it at least one power-play goal in each of its victories this season. Michigan Tech's Kevin Genoe stopped 37 shots.
• DENVER 3, ALASKA ANCHORAGE 2: Rhett Rakhshani scored two goals as the Pioneers held on to beat the host Seawolves.
• BEMIDJI STATE 2, ROBERT MORRIS 0: Matt Read broke a scoreless tie at 8:23 of the third period, Dan Bakala made 23 saves and the host Beavers (6-0-1) stayed undefeated by beating the Colonials (2-5).
