NO. 9 LSU AT NO. 3 ALABAMA

2:30 p.m. on Ch. 4

Records: LSU 7-1, Alabama 8-0

The skinny: A victory would give Alabama, third in this week's BCS ratings, the SEC West title and a spot opposite No. 1 Florida in the SEC Championship Game, with the winner likely to play for the national championship. For LSU to have a chance, sophomore QB Jordan Jefferson must solve a Crimson Tide defense that has given up just one TD in its past three games. Alabama DT Terrence Cody blocked two fourth-quarter FG attempts by Tennessee on Oct. 24.

The stat: Alabama RB Mark Ingram leads the SEC and is fifth in nation with 125.5 yards rushing per game.

Line: Alabama by 7 1/2.

No. 15 Ohio St. at No. 11 Penn St.

Records: Ohio State 7-2, Penn State 8-1

The skinny: Senior Daryll Clark directs a Penn State offense that has outscored opponents 176-43 the past five games. Ohio State's hopes for a share of the Big Ten title hinge on a win.

The stat: Ohio State missed two of three FG attempts last week against New Mexico State.

Line: Penn State by 3 1/2.

Northwestern at No. 8 IOwa

11 a.m. on ESPN

Records: Northwestern 5-4, Iowa 9-0

The skinny: Iowa tries to keep its winning streak (13 games, second longest in the country) going against a Wildcats squad that has won seven of 12 in this series since 1995.

The stat: Behind backup QB Dan Persa, Northwestern was outscored 24-0 in the second half of last week's loss to Penn State.

Line: Iowa by 16.

NAVY AT NO. 19 NOTRE DAME

1:30 p.m. on Ch. 11

Records: Navy 6-3, Notre Dame 6-2

The skinny: Wide receiver Michael Floyd (Cretin-Derham Hall) returns from injury for ND.

The stat: With sophomore backup Kriss Proctor at QB, Navy's offense managed a total of only 27 yards passing the past two games.

Line: Notre Dame by 11.

No. 20 Oklahoma at Nebraska

7 p.m. on Ch. 5

Records: Oklahoma 5-3, Nebraska 5-3

The skinny: Oklahoma freshman QB Landry Jones, elevated when Sam Bradford was hurt, passed for seven TDs in victories over Kansas and Kansas State since the loss to Texas. Cody Green, a freshman, makes his second career start at QB for Nebraska. Huskers lead the Big 12 in scoring defense at 11.2 points per game.

The stat: Sooners' 27 sacks lead the Big 12.

Line: Oklahoma by 5 1/2.
