Taylor Heise scored two goals and Sydney Scobee made 30 saves as the second-ranked Gophers women's team extended its winning streak to 10 before taking a month-long break, beating Robert Morris 5-0 Saturday for a weekend sweep at Ridder Arena.

Kelly Pannek scored shorthanded, and Taylor Williamson and Alex Woken also scored goals for the Gophers (17-2-1), while Emily Brown and Amy Potomak each had two assists. The Gophers outshot the Colonials 33-30 for the game as Lauren Bailey made 28 saves for Robert Morris (8-10-4).

"An awesome game here tonight, and a great way to end the first half [of the season]," coach Brad Frost said. "We got contributions from everybody. Scobee, with a great effort in net gaining her second shutout as a Gopher. All of our lines produced tonight, which has been a broken record for us, but we believe so strongly in that."

The Gophers led 2-0 after one period with Heise scoring on a power play at 11:18 before Pannek scored her second shorthanded goal of the season at 14:44. Williamson scored in the second period and Woken and Heise scored in the third.

The Gophers don't play again until the Minnesota Cup on Jan. 5 and 6, when Minnesota State Mankato, St. Cloud State and Minnesota Duluth come to Ridder Arena.
