For the third time this season, the Gophers have had a game delayed by lightning.

Kickoff of Saturday night's game at Michigan was moved back to an estimated 8:30 p.m. Eastern (7:30 p.m. Central). The game was supposed to kick off at 7:42 p.m.

Gates were supposed to open at 5:30 p.m., but lightning strikes began shortly after 5 p.m. and continued.

The Gophers are no stranger to inclement weather this season. Their Oct. 7 game at Purdue was delayed 88 minutes in the fourth quarter because of lightning, and their home game against Michigan State a week later was delayed 34 minutes because of lightning in the area. In addition, the Sept. 9 game at Oregon State and the home game against Illinois also featured rain but were not delayed.
