Three of the four Gophers players facing expulsion for their involvement in an alleged September sexual assault have moved on from the University this week.

Cornerback Ray Buford announced Tuesday that he is transferring to Arizona Western Community College, just as defensive lineman Tamarion Johnson announced Monday.

Also Tuesday, the Gophers confirmed that Dior Johnson is no longer enrolled at the University and has been taken off the roster.

Cornerback KiAnte Hardin, the other player facing expulsion, has yet to announce his plans.

Buford made his announcement on Twitter, saying: "Minnesota will forever be the greatest decision of my life. Despite everything that has unfolded, I have managed to make friendships and relationship that will last a lifetime. I have brothers that will back and support me through anything. But I think it's safe to say that my time here is over and done. ... Thank you to all my coaches, teammates and friends here in Minnesota. I will never forget you."

In other news, the Gophers will hold their annual spring game April 15 at TCF Bank Stadium. It will be the team's first spring game under new coach P.J. Fleck. Spring practice is expected to start March 7.
