The Gophers recorded technical falls in the first three bouts and rolled to a 28-9 victory over Indiana in a wrestling dual Sunday in Bloomington, Ind.

It began with No. 2 Brett Pfarr's 24-9 victory over Norman Conley that included 11 takedowns. No. 8 heavyweight Michael Kroells followed with a technical fall, 21-6 over Fletcher Miller. No. 6 Ethan Lizak finished the streak with a 15-0 shutout of Liam Cronin.

Minnesota had not earned three tech falls in a dual since January 17, 2014, against Michigan State.

"Up and down the line, we were very aggressive and scored a lot of points," coach Brandon Eggum said. "That's what we talk about all the time with the guys."

Mitch McKee won 8-0 over Garrett Pepple at 133 pounds and Tommy Thorn (141) beat Cole Weaver 4-0.
