Tori Finucane will leave Missouri to pitch her senior season with the Gophers softball team, coach Jessica Allister said Monday, and Virginia infielder Allie Arneson is also coming with three years of eligibility remaining.

Finucane was Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Year in 2014 after going 21-6 with a 1.73 ERA. She went 21-8 with a 3.03 ERA in 2015 but was limited to 37⅔ innings as a junior because of injuries.

According to the Kansas City Star, she will be the seventh player to leave the Missouri program since the start of the 2016 season. The Tigers went 42-16 this year, but the Missouri athletic department investigated coach Ehren Earleywine for allegations of verbal abuse of players, and the team's Unity Council announced it was playing the season under protest.

Arneson started 43 games at shortstop for Virginia this season, hitting .268 with 27 runs and 15 RBI.
