Gophers men's hockey junior Nick Seeler was suspended for one game by the Big Ten for a play in which he received a major penalty and game misconduct for contact to the head.

The conference reviewed the play from Sunday's 7-4 loss to St. Cloud State. Seeler, a defenseman, will sit out Friday's Big Ten opener against Ohio State at Mariucci Arena.

Saints re-sign Argo

Argo, 26, also recorded 12 home runs and 49 RBI in 87 games and 341 at-bats. Argo finished second in the American Association in runs.

The Saints re-signed American Association Player of the Year Vinny DiFazio on Nov. 23.
