Meet the Lamoufreux family

Five members of the Lamoureux family of Grand Forks, N.D., will be playing college hockey this season, including four who are freshmen. A look at a widely spread hockey family:

Parents

Jean-Pierre: Goalie for North Dakota on national championship teams in 1980 and '82.

Linda: Former marathon runner and swimmer.

children

Jean-Philippe, age 24: North Dakota's goalie last season, now trying out for Peoria Rivermen, an AHL team affiliated with the St. Louis Blues who signed him.

Jacques, 22: Sophomore forward for the Air Force Academy.

Pierre Paul, 21: Freshman defenseman for the University of Manitoba.

Mario, 20: freshman forward for North Dakota.

Jocelyne and Monique, 19: Freshmen forwards for the Gophers.
