Gophers (19-6, 8-5 Big Ten): All seems right again for Minnesota after back-to-back, decisive wins over Michigan State and Wisconsin last week, ending the Gophers' 1-4 slump. Senior Shae Kelley scored a career-high 33 points and was 13-for-14 from the free throw line in a physical 93-82 win over Wisconsin on Wednesday. It was the first time the Gophers topped 90 points since a 107-62 win over Southern on Nov. 25. While the Gophers' five starters all scored eight or more points, they received zero points from their bench. The Minnesota reserves combined to go 0-for-7 from the field. Minnesota is fifth in the Big Ten standings and 38th in the latest RPI rankings.

Penn State (6-19, 3-11): The Lady Lions are coming off a 74-67 loss to Michigan State on Wednesday. Rebuilding Penn State has lost four of its past five, a stretch that started with a 75-64 loss at Williams Arena on Jan. 28. Penn State, which has seven sophomores and freshmen on its roster, struggled to contain the Gophers' Amanda Zahui B. in the last matchup. Zahui recorded her second career triple-double with 16 points, 13 rebounds and 12 blocks. Freshman Lindsey Spann has been one of the few highlights for the Lady Lions, leading the team with 15 points per game in 17 starts.
