St. John's earned its first MIAC title since 2009 with a 26-6 victory over St. Olaf in Northfield on Saturday.

Sam Sura rushed for 136 yards and two TDs and Josh Bungum caught two TD passes to lead the Johnnies (9-1, 7-1 MIAC), who earned the MIAC's automatic berth in the NCAA Division III playoffs.

The 32-team field for the NCAA Division III playoffs will be announced at 5 p.m. Sunday at www.ncaa.com.

The Johnnies outgained the Oles 355-199, while limiting the Oles (1-9, 1-7) to nine first downs.

Augsburg 62, Bethel 61 (2 OT): Ayrton Scott passed for 563 yards and 5 TDs as the Auggies outlasted the host Royals in two overtimes. Scott's fifth TD pass gave the Auggies (4-6, 3-5) a 62-55 lead in the second overtime. After Bethel (7-3, 6-2) scored, the Auggies stopped the Royals' two-point conversion attempt. The loss prevented the Royals from a share of the MIAC title.

St. Thomas 57, Gustavus Adolphus 35: Brenton Braddock rushed for 261 yards and five TDs to lead the host Tommies past the Gusties.

Braddock scored twice in the third quarter as the Tommies (8-2, 6-2) outscored the Gusties 22-0 in the quarter.

Luke Martinez rushed for 110 yards and three TDs for the Gusties (6-4, 4-4).

Carleton 13, Hamline 6: Zach Creighton rushed for 137 yards and a TD and threw a TD pass to lead the Knights (2-8, 1-7) over the Pipers in St. Paul.
