'Extra innings' change

The American Association — the St. Paul Saints' league — will have an "extra inning rule," which puts a runner at second base to start the inning once a game reaches the 11th, for the 2015 season.

Starting in the 11th, the player in the batting order preceding that inning's leadoff hitter will be placed on second base. The inning will otherwise proceed as usual.

Should the player on second base score, it will count in the statistics as a run for the player and an RBI for the batter who drove him in but not toward the pitcher's earned-run average

Etc.
