The University of Minnesota's incoming freshman scholarship football players compiled the lowest composite ACT score among eight Big Ten schools that responded to a Star Tribune Freedom of Information Act request. (Northwestern, Penn State and Michigan did not respond.) The composite score is figured by combining ACT scores and adjusted scores for students who took the SAT, the other college entrance test.
