The Gophers continue to attract Big Ten hockey weekly honors. Forward Travis Boyd and Goaltender Adam Wilcox were honored as the First and Third Stars, respectively, on Tuesday.

It's the second straight week, and fifth time this season, the Gophers have claimed two of the three stars.

Boyd scored four points (one goal, three assists) to lead the Gophers' sweep of Penn State, last weekend. He contributed a pair of assists in Friday's 5-1 victory and scored a goal and assist in Saturday's 2-1 win.

The four-point weekend increased his career-best point total to 24 (nine goals, 15 assists). It's his second Big Ten honor this season.

Wilcox picked up his fifth Big Ten honor of the season with a 30-save effort in Friday's 5-1 victory.

The sophomore goaltender leads the Big Ten with 21 wins and is 13-2-4 in his last 19 starts. He ranks second in the conference in save percentage (.932), goals-against average (1.94) and winning percentage (.783).

Wilcox is also a Hobey Baker Award nominee and is among the current leaders in fan voting.

The Gophers have 20 Big Ten honors earned by nine different players this season.
