The streaking Gophers women’s hockey team proved again it can win in any arena, and before any crowd.

The venue was different this night, the result the same.

Four different players scored as the Gophers women’s hockey team beat Wisconsin — convincingly this time — 4-0 before an announced “Fill the Bowl” crowd of 13,573 on Saturday night at the Kohl Center.

Minnesota won 3-2 the day before at the much smaller LaBahn Arena. But the road arena seems to make no difference to coach Brad Frost’s team. Here are the Gophers’ streaks:

• They‘ve won 44 consecutive on the road.

• They’re unbeaten in 18 games (17-0-1).

• They have 10 victories in a row over the Badgers, ranked No. 2 in the latest polls.

Sophomore goalie Amanda Leveille got the shutout, her 10th of the season. She had seven saves in the first period, then nine and eight for 24 total.

Kelly Terry gave the No. 1- ranked Gophers (30-1-1, 24-1-1), who clinched a WCHA regular-season title on Friday, a 1-0 lead midway through the second period. Then Hannah Brandt scored to make it 2-0 in the 18th minute.

Bethany Brausen and Meghan Lorence added goals in the third period, at 2:51 and 10:40. It was the 19th goal of the season for Brandt, the 16th for Terry and the 15th for Lorence.

Terry with a goal and an assist and Kate Schipper, with two assists, were the Gophers’ points leaders.

Alex Rigsby had 23 saves for Wisconsin (23-5-2, 19-5-2-1); Blayre Turnbull had seven of the Badgers’ 24 shots on goal.
