The Gophers weren't able to depart Minneapolis on their scheduled flight to Indianapolis because of the weather Tuesday evening, according to team spokesman Dan Reisig.
The team's flight was scheduled to depart at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, but snowstorms across the Midwest prevented flights from landing at Purdue University.
The Gophers will try to fly out at about 9 a.m. Wednesday, Reisig said. The game is scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m. Central time.
Purdue has not postponed at game at Mackey Arena since the Gophers — then coached by Clem Haskins — got stuck in Indianapolis because of weather during the 1998-99 season.
