Yet, the Gophers left Lincoln, Neb., with a disappointing 88-85 overtime loss. Rachel Banham scored 33 points, set a new career-high with eight assists, and hit a three-point shot with nine seconds left to send the game to overtime. But the Gophers struggled with foul trouble and turnovers in key situations late. … Banham has scored 93 points over her past three games, and leads the Big Ten, averaging 26.5 points-per-game. … Sari Noga continued her stellar long-range shooting, hitting four of nine shots from behind the arc Thursday. Noga, who has averaged 15.7 points in her past three games, is hitting 41 percent of her three-pointers.

The Hoosiers shot just 25.7 percent from the field in an 86-53 blowout loss at No. 22 Purdue on Friday. … The Hoosiers have three freshmen guards in their starting lineup, who account for more than 40 percent of the team’s scoring: Larryn Brooks, Alexis Gassion and Taylor Agler.
