1:30 p.m. vs. Chaminade • ESPNU (1500-Am)

Minnesota at a glance: One game after the Gophers looked promisingly aggressive and capable against a tough Syracuse team, Minnesota (5-2, 0-2 in the Maui Invitational) fell apart against Arkansas on Tuesday. The Gophers' defense looked the worst it has all season as they allowed an Arkansas team that had struggled the day before to shoot 54.5 percent from the field, including 60.7 percent in the second half. Center Mo Walker's return to the team after a six-game suspension was muted by a poor frontcourt performance, especially defensively, and he managed only one point and one rebound.

Chaminade at a glance: The tournament's only Division II team doesn't come without its share of challenges. The Silverswords, the hosts of the Maui Invitational, hung with No. 18 Baylor in the first round, down only 50-47 at halftime before ultimately succumbing 93-77, and then roundly losing to No. 11 Gonzaga 113-81 on Tuesday. Chaminade upset Texas a year ago in the first round of the same tournament. Against Baylor, Christophe Varidel went off for 42 points, but against Gonzaga was held to only eight. Lee Bailey had the big game in that one, cashing in on 29 points and adding five rebounds.
