Background: His coaching stops included Southeastern Louisiana, Ricks College, Idaho State, Park City (Utah) High School, Northern Arizona and Southern Utah. He had two stints as an assistant at Utah and was a defensive coach when the Utes went undefeated in 2004 and 2008.
Utah State: The Aggies hadn't won more than three games in a season for six years before Andersen took over in 2009. His teams went 4-8, 4-8, 7-5 and 11-2.
Family: He and wife Stacey have three sons. Keegan is a junior tight end at Utah State. Hagen is a freshman defensive end at Utah State. And Hagen's twin, Chasen, will walk on as a linebacker at Wisconsin.
