The No. 1 seeds
Gonzaga
There is plenty of controversy about whether the Zags should get a No. 1 but very little doubt that they will. The Bulldogs' competition has been light this season, sure, but they haven't slipped up, either, easier said than done.
Indiana
Yes, the Hoosiers got knocked out of their conference tournament, but their resume still has the girth to get a No. 1. Now – after plowing through a tough Big Ten -- Indiana just needs to prove its not exhausted.
Louisville
Just to remind us of the exciting season of hoops this has been, the Cardinals pulled off a significant turnaround in their conference championship on Saturday, falling behind Syracuse by 15 before charging back. Yeah, this tournament should be interesting.
Duke
Let's take a gander at the credentials: The Blue Devils have the No. 1 RPI in the country, No. 1 strength of schedule and rank seventh in the nation in scoring. With Ryan Kelly back and rolling, Duke has claimed its spot.
