North Dakota at a glance: Gophers coach Brad Frost said North Dakota would be a legitimate No. 4 or No. 5 seed in the eight-team NCAA field, but in the quarterfinals teams are pitted regionally to avoid air travel. Minnesota is 5-0 against North Dakota this year, including a 2-0 victory in last Saturday's WCHA playoff championship game. The Gophers also defeated North Dakota 5-1 in last year's NCAA quarterfinals.
