Gophers at a glance: Fresh off consecutive losses by 20-plus points, Minnesota is badly in need of a win. Translation: It's a tough time to face the No. 1-ranked Hoosiers. In the past two games, the Gophers have made 41 turnovers while shooting a combined 32.6 percent from the field. The Gophers could have trouble once again against Indiana's 2-3 zone, should the Hoosiers decide to implement it. At Iowa, the Gophers led 21-5 before the Hawkeyes' extended zone locked up Minnesota's offense. Coach Tubby Smith said that Rodney Williams' shoulder is 100 percent after getting some rest over the weekend and that the senior will start.

Indiana at a glance: The Hoosiers have been ranked No. 1 for four consecutive weeks -- the longest of any team this season -- and they show no signs of slowing down. Indiana has won nine of its past 10, and it has four players with at least 1,000 career points in the starting lineup with Christian Watford (1,642), Jordan Hulls (1,261), Cody Zeller (1,011) and Victor Oladipo (1,005). Zeller tops a team that leads the nation in scoring margin (21.3) with 16.6 points a game, while Oladipo -- named Big Ten player of the week Monday -- adds 14 a game. Oladipo has been dealing with a sprained left ankle, but coach Tom Crean said on Monday's media teleconference that the guard should be ready to go.
