NATIONAL DUAL MEET CHAMPIONSHIPS
Who: The Gophers, Iowa and Oklahoma State highlight a field that includes seven of the top eight college wrestling teams in the country.
What: In the dual meet format, every match counts, so it's a true team format.
Where: Williams Arena
When: Quarterfinals are Friday -- 6 p.m. (No. 1 seed Oklahoma State vs. No. 8 Illinois, No. 5 Missouri vs. No. 4 Ohio State) and 8 p.m. (No. 3 Gophers vs. No. 6 Virginia Tech, No. 7 Cornell vs. No. 2 Iowa). Semifinals are Saturday at 1 p.m. Finals are Saturday at 7 p.m.
Notable: The tournament includes seven wrestlers currently ranked No. 1 by Intermat at their weights -- Iowa's Matt McDonough (125 pounds), Ohio State's Logan Stieber (133 pounds), Oklahoma State's Jordan Oliver (149 pounds), Iowa's Derek St. John (157 pounds), Cornell's Kyle Dake (165 pounds), the Gophers' Logan Storley (174 pounds) and Missouri's Dom Bradley (heavyweight).
