Gophers at a glance: Minnesota was able to notch a much-needed overtime victory over Wisconsin on Thursday, ending a two-game skid that felt deeper because of their six losses in the past eight games. In that game, Andre Hollins retook the role of leader, scoring 21 points, including seven in overtime. The Gophers' bench -- which has struggled to produce in the past several games -- managed just two points (from Mo Walker). Rodney Williams has been dealing with a sore shoulder but started in the Wisconsin game. He was fouled hard in the second half and had it iced after but is expected to play Sunday.

Iowa at a glance: The Hawkeyes' record might not be impressive, but Iowa has been far from uncompetitive. Five of their seven losses have come by four points or fewer, including their 62-59 loss at Williams Arena on Feb. 3. Roy Devyn Marble has been huge for Iowa lately, netting 43 points in the past two games. Aaron White is one of just three players in the Big Ten averaging at least 13.4 points and 5.9 rebounds (Deshaun Thomas and Cody Zeller are the other two). The Gophers will want to limit him because when he scores at least 16 points, the Hawkeyes are 8-1.
