The Gophers at a glance: Seven months after Stanford crushed the Gophers 75-51 in the NIT final at Madison Square Garden, Minnesota gets a chance for revenge at another neutral site Saturday in the fifth-place game of the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament in the Bahamas. The Gophers have lots of confidence after knocking down No. 19 Memphis, thanks to a 41-point performance from Andre Hollins. Boosted by the sophomore point guard, the Gophers shot well, but they still turned the ball over 17 times, a continuing problem. Senior forward Rodney Williams has established himself as the team's most reliable player, contributing 13 points, six rebounds, three blocks and three assists.

Stanford at a glance: The Cardinal is coming off plenty of momentum of its own, staying close to No. 13 Missouri in the first game and then crushing Northern Iowa in the second. Guard Chasson Randle has been big in both games, scoring 22 and 21 points to lead the team both days. Stanford is capable of hitting three-pointers, having made 14 in the tournament so far, but the Cardinal is not always efficient from beyond the arc. A year ago, Stanford was able to stop the Gophers by limiting Hollins (who had been on a tear) and forcing the driving Gophers to be one-dimensional. If the Gophers shoot as well as they did Friday, that shouldn't be as much of a problem. Stanford has some good size down low with Josh Huestis and Dwight Powell.
