Gophers at a glance: The Gophers are making their first trip to Burlington in program history. They split last year's first series ever at Mariucci Arena. C Erik Haula is tied for second in the WCHA and seventh in the NCAA with 14 points. C Nick Bjugstad has been fighting the flu all week.

Catamounts at a glance: Senior F Chris McCarthy leads Vermont with four goals and seven points in nine games. G Brody Hoffman (2-5-2, 2.82) has started all nine games. The Catamounts have two Minnesotans: Hibbing's Anthony DeCenzo and Chanhassen's Blake Doerring.
