Oklahoma swept the men's singles and doubles titles on Monday in the ITA Central Regional tennis championships at the University of Minnesota Tennis Center.
The Gophers' Leandro Toledo fell to Oklahoma's Guillermo Alcorte 6-4, 6-1 in the title match. The Sooners doubles team of Alcorte and Alex Alvarez beat Drake's Anis Ghorbel and James McKie 8-4.

• For the second time this year, the Gophers' Daly Santana of Corozal, Puerto Rico, was named the Big Ten Freshman of the Week in volleyball. Santana, a 6-1 outside hitter, had 18 kills, a team-high 29 digs and six service aces against Wisconsin and Purdue last week.
• The Gophers men's hockey team dropped from No. 1 to No. 2 in the latest USCHO poll after splitting a weekend series with Michigan Tech.
Boston College moved into the top spot. The Gophers maintained the top spot in the USCHO women's poll.
• The Gophers' women's golf team shot a 604 to stand in fourth place at the Las Vegas Collegiate Shootout, eight strokes behind Central Florida. Carmen Laguna and Banchalee Theinthong are tied for fourth after shooting 147.
