Preview: The teams have identical records. But are they going in different directions? The Wolves have won four of their past six, while Memphis has won two of its past 15 and is 3-17 since trading big man Pau Gasol to the Los Angeles Lakers... This is the first of three meetings the Wolves have remaining against the Grizzlies.

Players to watch: Wolves guard Marko Jaric has 25 assists and five turnovers in his past four games. Grizzlies forward Rudy Gay ranks second among NBA second-year players in scoring (19.5 points per game). Guard Mike Conley, formely of Ohio State, leads all rookies in assists, at 4.3 per game.

Numbers: Memphis has won nine of the past 11 meetings between the teams ... Memphis has lost its past 17 road games by an average of 13.1 points ... Five of nine Wolves opponents in March have shot better than 50 percent.

Injuries: Timberwolves G Sebastian Telfair (ankle) is out. The Grizzlies report no injuries.
