ANDRE MCDONALD ON THE FIELD
• Had 60 catches for 1,253 yards and 17 touchdowns as a senior at Hopkins. His 39 TD receptions are fourth most in the state for a career, while his 2,699 yards receiving is the fifth most.
• A three-star recruit according to Rivals.com and ranked the third-best prospect in the state of Minnesota.
• Has good size (6-3) and the necessary speed to perhaps contribute at wide receiver for the Gophers this fall as a true freshman.
• An excellent all-around athlete. "Maybe it's from playing basketball, but he can move in small spaces like a little guy," Hopkins coach John DenHartog said.
