Family: Married to former Lakeville High School star and national team standout Elisabeth "Wiz" Bachman. They have two children and currently live in Irvine, Calif.
Current roles: Head coach of the U.S. women's Olympic volleyball team and incoming head coach of the Gophers volleyball team.
Record: 85-37 as head coach of women's national team; was 107-33 as head coach of men's national team.
Career highlights: In 2008, he led the men's team to its first Olympic gold medal since 1988 in Beijing. He also led the women's team to the silver medal at the 2011 FIVB World Cup, which qualified the team for the 2012 Olympic Games. The women's team is ranked No. 1 in the world.
