• MINNESOTA DULUTH 5, COLORADO COLLEGE 2: Mike Seidel scored twice, Jack Connolly had three assists and the host Bulldogs defeated the Tigers on Saturday to keep pace with the first-place Gophers heading into the final weekend of the WCHA regular season.Defending national champion Minnesota Duluth (22-7-5, 16-6-4 WCHA) extended its unbeaten streak to five games (4-0-1) and remained two points behind the Gophers as it attempted to win its first MacNaughton Cup since 1993.

J.T. Brown and Caleb Herbert each had a goal and an assist for UMD, and Travis Oleksuk scored his 21st goal of the season.

Rylan Schwartz and Andrew Hamburg scored for Colorado College (16-14-2, 13-12-2), which was outshot 37-27.

• DENVER 5, NORTH DAKOTA 3: Nick Shore had a goal and two assists and the host Pioneers scored four second-period goals in their victory over the Sioux. Chris Knowlton's unassisted shorthanded goal broke a 1-1 tie for Denver (19-11-4, 14-8-4), which later got power-play goals by Jason Zucker, Scott Mayfield and Shawn Ostrow. Brock Nelson scored his 21st and 22nd goals of the year for North Dakota (18-12-3, 14-11-1), which won Friday night's game 4-3.

• MICHIGAN TECH 3, ST. CLOUD STATE 2: Michigan Tech's Blake Pietila scored with 1:38 to play, lifting the Huskies (14-16-4, 11-11-4) over the Huskies (14-16-4, 11-12-3) for a split of the weekend series in Houghton, Mich. Michigan Tech moved past St. Cloud State into seventh place in the WCHA. The top six teams earn home-ice advantage in the upcoming playoffs. Steven Seigo and Alex MacLeod also scored for Michigan Tech. Nic Dowd and Nick Jensen scored for St. Cloud State.

• WISCONSIN 4, BEMIDJI STATE 2: Ten players had points as the Badgers (15-15-2, 10-14-2) defeated the host Beavers (15-16-3, 9-14-3) for a weekend sweep. Jefferson Dahl was the only Wisconsin player with more than one point, finishing with two assists for the Badgers, who won Friday's game 4-2 as well. Brad Nevin, Sean Little, Justin Schultz and Michael Mersch scored goals for Wisconsin.
