1 This year's home schedule was helped significantly by the presence of regional rivals North Dakota State, Nebraska, Iowa and Wisconsin, each bringing thousands of fans to TCF Bank Stadium. None of those four is on next year's home schedule.
2 Almost 40 percent -- 199 of 515 -- of premium accounts expire after this season, having been three-year deals when the stadium opened. Those accounts make up $2.3 million in revenue.
3 Selling premium accounts would be enhanced by the selling of alcohol, but at this point there's no reason to believe the Legislature will reverse course and allow alcohol in premium seats.
4 The current on-field product is hardly enticing, and coach Jerry Kill is so convinced of a lengthy rebuilding process that he was able to wrangle an extension from five to seven years when he signed his first contract a month ago.
5 The economy continues to falter, and might take as long to get healthy as Kill's football team.
