Last week: Todd Boeckman completed touchdown passes of 42, 28 and 19 yards to Brian Robiskie as the Buckeyes routed Northwestern 58-7. Ohio State held the Wildcats to zero rushing yards, 120 passing.

Offensive standouts: Boeckman has passed for 760 yards and 10 TDs, including four against the Wildcats. He is 6-5, 243 pounds. Robiskie is his leading receiver with 20 catches for 431 yards and five TDs. Running back Chris Wells is averaging 106 yards rushing per game and 5.9 yards per carry.

Defensive standouts: Many. Linebacker James Laurinaitis, winner of the Nagurski Award last year as the nation's top defensive player, has a team-high 29 tackles and two interceptions. Safety Russ Anderson is next with 20 tackles, including 10 solo. Larry Grant, another 6-3 linebacker like Laurinaitis, has blocked two kicks and leads the team with four tackles for losses.

Special team standout: Ryan Pretorius is 17-for-17 on extra-point attempts and 6-for-8 on field-goal tries. His longest made field goal is only 40 yards. Punter A.J. Trapasso is averaging a conference-best 42.2 yards on 12 punts.

Did you know? The Buckeyes have won 22 regular-season games in a row, a school record, and 15 consecutive Big Ten games. Their last conference loss was to Penn State 17-10 on Oct. 8, 2005.
