Gophers walking to game

Last update: August 31, 2007 - 10:01 PM

The Gophers are walking to the game, and you're invited

Coach Tim Brewster wants to involve Gophers fans, and that will start two hours before each home game with what is being called the Gopher Victory Walk. The team and staff will be bused to Chicago Avenue between Third Street and Fourth Street and will walk to the Metrodome, eventually joined by the school's marching band and entering the stadium through Gate F. The hope is that fans will line the path to the Metrodome.
