RECAP

The Leader: R.W Eaks, who made a run toward the top Friday before finishing three strokes back after the first round, fired a 9-under-par 63 on Saturday and holds a three-shot lead over Loren Roberts and Gene Jones heading into the final day. Eaks' 128 after 36 holes is a new two-day tournament record and sets the new best 36-hole total on the Champions Tour this year.

The Hole: The daunting pond guarding the 18th green wasn't so bad Saturday. Five players, including Jones, carded eagles on the last hole, while 38 others made birdie.

The Quote: "Let's make sure there aren't any Michelle Wie's out here." -- A caddie, giving some good advice to players heading to the scorer's table late Saturday afternoon. Earlier in the day, Wie was disqualified from an LPGA event for not signing her scorecard in the proper table area.
