JUST WHO IS STACY LEWIS?
1 The 23-year-old was the NCAA Division I individual champion in 2007.
2 Graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2007 with a degree in finance and accounting.
3 Led the United States to a 13-7 victory over the Great Britain and Ireland side in this month's Curtis Cup at St. Andrews. Her record was 5-0.
4 Turned pro on June 9 and won her U.S. Women's Open qualifier that day by four shots.
5 Needed only 23 putts in her five-birdie, no-bogey round of 67 on Saturday.
6 Could become the first modern professional to win a major championship in her first pro start.
7 Hometown: the Woodlands, Texas.
