• Children 17 and younger with a ticketed adult will be admitted free of charge, with a limit of nine free admissions per ticketed adult.
If you go to the Open, here are a few of the things YOU CAN'T do (for a full rundown of all the rules, go to www.2008uswomens open.com and search for "spectators information"):
Spectators should not approach a player seeking an autograph before, during or after her round or when the player is at the practice tees or practice green.
• Cameras and camcorders are prohibited during tournament play, Thursday-Sunday.
• No cell phones, PDAs or other portable e-mail devices.
• No signs, posters or banners.
• No TVs or radios.
• No food or beverages and no food containers or coolers.
• No lawn and/or folding armchairs.
• No bicycles on the course, no ladders, no metal-spiked golf shoes ... and no weapons of any kind (regardless of permit).
• Spectators must display their U.S. Women's Open ticket at all times and remain behind the gallery ropes.
• There is no public parking at Interlachen Country Club. Free public parking will be available in the "Southdale corridor" in Edina. Spectators can reach this area off Hwys. 494 and 62 using France Avenue and Valley View Road.
• The corridor is bounded by West 66th Street to the north, West 66th to the south, York Avenue to the east and France Avenue to the west.
• Once at the corridor, by either car or public transportation, spectators can take a free shuttle to the course. Shuttles will run from 6 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and from 6:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
• On Friday-Sunday, there will be additional parking/shuttle options, including at Normandale Community College and on Saturday and Sunday at Nash Finch and Centennial Lake and Office Park & France Place.
