Zeb Knutson scored two goals to lead ninth-ranked Minnesota State Mankato to a 5-2 victory over No. 3 St. Cloud State on Saturday at the Herb Brooks National Hockey Center in St. Cloud.

Jon Lizotte and Robby Jackson had goals for the Huskies in the nonconference game.

Connor LaCouvee made 28 saves for the Mavericks; two Huskies goalies combined for 21 stops.

Bemidji State 4, Ferris State 1: Jay Dickman scored two power-play goals as the Beavers beat the host Bulldogs. Michael Bitzer had 19 saves for Bemidji State, 8-1-4 in its past 13 games.

Big Ten

Michigan 3, No. 12 Penn State 2: Dakota Raabe's first goal of the season gave the visiting Wolverines a 3-0 lead with 5:37 left in the third period. The Nittany Lions, with their goalie pulled, scored twice in the final two minutes. Liam Folkes and Kris Myllari got the goals, ending Hayden Lavigne's shutout bid. He had 43 saves for Michigan.

No. 14 Minnesota Duluth 5, No. 7 North Dakota 2: Defenseman Scott Perunovich scored two power-play goals 16 seconds apart early in the second period, as the host Bulldogs beat the Fighting Hawks. Parker McKay added a third power-play goal for UMD midway through the third.
