Gophers DT Mose Hall announces that he's transferring

Mose Hall, a redshirt freshman defensive tackle for the Gophers, announced Monday on Twitter that he has decided to transfer.

Injuries left the Gophers thin at defensive tackle last season, but it's now a team strength for the team with Steven Richardson and Scott Ekpe both healthy, and the addition of junior college transfer Merrick Johnson to go with a host of top reserves, including Andrew Stelter, Gary Moore and Yoshub Timms.

Eric Abojei, from Robbinsdale Cooper, commits to Gophers

The Gophers landed their second in-state offensive line commitment of the month Sunday, when Eric Abojei, from Robbinsdale Cooper, announced he would play for Minnesota.

The 6-5, 310-pound Abojei is a consensus three-star recruit who also had a reported offer from Iowa State. He is Minnesota's second commitment for the 2017 class, joining Marshall's Blaise Andries, who committed the day of the Gophers spring game.
