We're going to play a little Twins over-under in a minute. And yes, we understand that this is probably not the best time for it because coming off of three consecutive road victories in Anaheim -- in a series that saw the local club hit nine home runs in four games, with five of them coming from 7-8-9 hitters -- the numbers are bound to be inflated. That said, we're pretty fired up about this club and we don't want to discuss any other sports at this juncture. But ... before we get to that: we're not as fired up as Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak.

Whoa, what? Favorite Twins team in history? Slow down, Mr. Mayor. We like this group, too, but ... let's get a little deeper into the season before going there. (Though it won't be totally out of hand until the Rybak-for-governor platform includes a promise to make Nov. 8 "Getting After It Day" in Minnesota. You just wait.)

OK, the over-under lines:

Twins victories: 94

Joe Mauer home runs: 29

Delmon Young home runs: 24

Scott Baker victories: 15

Nick Blackburn victories: 15

Carl Pavano victories: 15

Kevin Slowey victories: 15

Francisco Liriano victories: 15

Jon Rauch saves: 33

Joe Mauer batting average: .331

Team home runs: 200

Target Field rainouts: 4

Murray's steak sandwiches consumed at Target Field by Your Humble Proprietor: 9
