The NBA announced the reschedule date for the Wolves-Portland game that was postponed Monday due to a slippery Target Center floor:

Monday, April 3 at 6 p.m.

This plunks the game down in one of the busiest periods in the sports scene, both locally and nationally, and sets the Wolves up for a grueling finish to the regular season.

The NCAA men's championship game will be played that night, and the Minnesota Twins also have their home opener across the street from Target Center at Target Field.

And the reschedule didn't do either the Wolves or the Blazers any favors. For the Wolves it eliminates one day of a two-day stretch without games, and force the Wolves into a difficult back-to-back, with a game scheduled against the Warriors in Oakland the following night. This means the Wolves will play seven games over the final 12 days of the regular season.

The reschedule also adds a back-to-back for the Blazers, who will play at Utah the following night.
