The Gophers landed a verbal commitment Monday morning from Ohio lineman Malcolm Robinson, who was previously committed to Purdue.
The 6-3, 280-pound Robinson, who played both offensive guard and defensive tackle at Massillon (Ohio) Washington High School, is a consensus three-star recruit who also had a reported offer from Virginia.
The Gophers now have 28 players committed in this class heading into Wednesday's signing day.
