The Wild will be without Charlie Coyle and Ryan Carter tonight in Colorado during its fifth preseason game.

I hear Coyle has a lower-body injury but is expected to play in Saturday's exhibition finale against Winnipeg. I also hear Carter has an upper-body sustained during yesterday's practice.

Bruce Boudreau said the injuries aren't serious.

Kurtis Gabriel has been recalled to play tonight, while Jordan Schroeder will play tonight rather than be assigned to Iowa after clearing waivers today.

Boudreau called today a "show me" game for the bubble guys because Saturday's game will largely be the lineup.

Barring any more players going down with the flu, I'd suspect Nino Niederreiter is reunited with Erik Haula and Jason Pominville and Jason Zucker plays on the left side of Joel Eriksson Ek and Schroeder.

Alex Tuch, Tyler Graovac and Chris Stewart could be a line, as could Gabriel, Zac Dalpe and Christoph Bertschy.

Marco Scandella will be paired with Matt Dumba, Jonas Brodin with Christian Folin and Mike Reilly with Nate Prosser or Hunter Warner.

Darcy Kuemper in net with Alex Stalock backing up.

I'm covering tonight's game in Denver, so follow along on Twitter.
