Great golf shots. Competitive banter. Crazy costumes.

That's what you can expect next month when the Ryder Cup comes to Hazeltine National in Chaska for golf's grandest three days. It's a spectacle unlike any other on a golf course; an anything-can-happen USA vs. Europe tournament that brings face-painted, flag-wearing fans hooting and hollering for 24 of the best players on the planet. All because of a 17-inch-tall trophy.

Hazeltine is in the final stages of getting the course ready for the show. Before any of it happens, Ryder Cup officials got into the competitive spirit by inviting Wild players Zach Parise and Erik Haula to square off against former Vikings John Randle and Randall McDaniel. The friendly drive, chip and putt contest was all in fun (including the mascots from each team along for the ride), but as you can imagine these guys wanted to win.

And yes, a little trash talking was involved.
