Nathan Bursch, a consensus three-star tight end from Woodbury, became the latest in-state recruit to commit to the Gophers on Monday.

The 6-5, 235-pound Bursch also has reported offers from North Dakota, South Dakota and South Dakota State. He is the sixth player to commit to the Gophers for the Class of 2017, and the fifth from Minnesota.

Other in-state commitments for the Gophers include Marshall offensive lineman Blaise Andries, Robbinsdale Cooper offensive lineman Eric Abojei, East Ridge running back Dominik London and East Ridge kicker Grant Ryerse.

Bursch announced his commitment on Twitter, calling it "a dream come true."
