Nine Minnesotans are among the 40 players USA Hockey, in conjunction with NHL Central Scouring, has picked to play in the All-American Prospects game on Sept. 26 at the Consol Energy Center in Pittsburgh.

Three of them are future Gophers: forward Jack Ramsey of Minnetonka and defensemen Ryan Collins of Bloomington and Jack Glover of Golden Valley.

Four players bound for North Dakota also will play in the game, including forwards Shane Gersich of Chaska and Austin Poganski of St. Cloud.

Other Minnesotans headed for Pittsburgh are forwards Tyler Sheehy of Burnsville and Keegan Iverson of St. Louis Park, and defensemen Jack Dougherty of Cottage Grove and Hunter Warner of Eden Prairie.

Thirteen states have at least one player in the game; New York is second behind Minnesota with five.
