Twin Cities college student makes incredible catch at 'Little Fenway'

You're probably going to see this incredible game-ending catch elsewhere, but Upload will be the first to tell  you that Konnor Fleming is a defensive back on the Macalester College football team when he's not falling over the outfield fence making game-ending catches..

Fleming, who is from Vermont, was playing in a New England charity wiffle ball tournament over the weekend. Not only is the tournament a benefit for the Travis Roy Foundation, which benefits and raises awareness for people with spinal cord injuries, but it's played at a quarter-size replica of Fenway Park in Jericho, Vt., called "Little Fenway."

Let's go to the video:

The YouTube video has more than 150,000 plays since being posted Saturday.

According to reports from Deadspin and elsewhere, the umpire reversed the home run call and the game ended with Fleming's team winning.

Here's more about Fleming, from the Macalester football web site.

In addition to playing football, he's also a member of the school a cappella group, Scotch Tape. If you were at the game last season between Macalester and Rhodes College, that was Fleming singing the Star Spangled Banner, in full uniform, with the other members of Scotch Tape before the opening kickoff.

If anyone has that video, send it this way, please.

Upload acknowledges some bias here. Fleming also took my news reporting class at Macalester last year. He did darn well, and I'm assuming it prepared him for the postgame media crush at Little Fenway.
