The Lynx made two personnel moves Wednesday morning, bringing the roster to 12 players, one over the regular-season limit.

Guards Jacki Gemelos and Janeesa Jeffery were waived.

Gemelos, a third-round pick by the team last year, was attempting to come back from five ACL knee surgeries to make the WNBA. Hampered by injuries early in camp, Gemelos appeared in one of the team's two preseason games, scoring three points in 5:35 of playing time in the preseason opener.

Jeffery, a third-round pick this season, appeared in both preseason games, scoring two points with four rebounds in 17:42 of playing time.

The Lynx need to get to the 11-player limit by Thursday afternoon. With first-round pick Lindsey Moore likely to make the final roster, it would appear the team will have to decide between center Shawnice Wilson or guard Ta'Shauna Rodgers for the final spot.

The 6-6 Wilson was signed as a free agent after the draft. Rodgers was the team's second-round pick in the draft, a shooting guard out of Georgetown.
