Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. He welcomes suggestions, news tips, links of pure genius, and pictures of pets in Halloween costumes here, though he already knows he will regret that last part.

Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports via Twitter that Ron Gardenhire -- entering the final year of his Twins contract -- is selling his home in the Twin Cities suburb of Little Canada.
Before you connect too many dots, however, Nightengale offers some clarity on his house-hunting motives:
Twins manager Ron Gardenhire is selling house in Minnesota but has nothing to do w job status and hopes to remain w #Twins

Gardenhire bought home off Fort Myersbeach and plans to have that as residence and rent in Minn #Twins

Minnesota winters get to all of us eventually. Regardless of Gardenhire's intentions, we can't blame him for opting for a warmer winter destination -- one, we should note of course, that also happens to be the Twins' spring training home. Our only real concern is what will become of his bowling average.
